Happy New Year! It looks like the whole village made some good resolutions this year. Everyone's dressed to the nines!

As we watched the villagers of the Tree go about their days, we thought they might look a bit too similar. It was time to give them a little personality. And what better way to express it than with a new outfit?

Each villager can now show off three different looks! It doesn't change their tastes or personalities, but they can now enjoy their rhubarb pie with more style.

By combining feedback from our community live testers and our own impressions, we've implemented numerous changes to Alva's shop management system to make it more fun and enhance the feeling of progression.
First, customer traffic now depends on three factors.
The most important one is the number of villagers' houses rebuilt in the Tree. A more populated village naturally generates more customers. It's also a great way to create a virtuous cycle: rebuilding the village increases the number of customers, which boosts the shop's revenue and makes further reconstruction easier.

The second factor is the time of day. Just like in any good bakery, there are peak hours and quieter moments.
The last factor is completing furniture sets. A well-appointed, cozy pastry shop catches the eye and makes you want to sit down!

Customer behavior itself has been redefined. Everyone has their own taste preferences. For example, our scarecrow friends prefer rhubarb, banana, and chocolate. They prioritize buying products that match these tastes, and they even leave a tip! So, it's well worth getting to know them by experimenting or by finding the character cards hidden throughout the game.
Another price bonus can also be earned by selling seasonal specialties during their corresponding season. A great reason to change up your stock from time to time!
All the recipes have been reworked to support these changes. There are nearly 300 of them!

We've made a lot of progress on the second act of the game: the Workshop. The atmosphere is very different from that of the farm.

The air is icy, and unfinished works are stored here and there. And it looks like some of them... are moving?

The new enemies and traps in this dungeon allow us to be very creative with the obstacles players must overcome. But we can't show you too much. The many mysteries at the heart of the Workshop reflect the spirit of its creator, and it's up to you to unravel them...

Last issue, we told you about the changes in the Tree. New locations are now open!

The park is a green space where villagers can relax and have fun together. It might seem a little empty at first glance, which is normal since Alva can add various amenities there. Tables, a slide...

The cemetery is a place for quiet reflection. The tranquility there evokes an atmosphere of calm and serenity. But make no mistake, the villagers of old still have stories to tell.

The game's soundtrack continues to grow with new instrumental tracks, ever more beautiful and varied...
If only we could have a bit of singing…
Oh, but... Hey, do you hear that?

It's always a pleasure to share this progress with you. The project is taking shape, and we hope you like what you're seeing!
Feel free to join the project's Discord to stay informed or to be invited to future live test sessions.
Moinelle continues to stream the game's development on her Twitch channel on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so be sure to follow her.
Thank you all for your support, and see you next month!
